I finally got around to reading a couple of the comic books I’ve had for some time. Fables Volume 11: War and Pieces and DMZ Volume 4: Friendly Fire to be precise.

Fables as always was really good, that’s my favourite comic series ever for sure. The next volume comes out in August so I’ll defo be picking that up.

DMZ is especially poetic after my experience last week. It takes place in America where the middle class has risen up and revolted because they were tired of their government caring more about other countries than the one they’re supposed to govern. It’s set in downtown Manhattan which has become the stalemate in the conflict between the US Army and the Free States of America. It’s really good and I recommend it for anyone who thinks we live in an interesting world these days.
